Dawson Civil, Dawson Construction, and Skeetch Arrowhead have worked closely with Simpcw Resources Group (SRG) for over a decade, supporting a variety of impactful community initiatives. These long-standing partnerships reflect our shared commitment to building stronger communities both on and off the job site.
Last week, Dawson Group was honoured to serve as the title sponsor of SRG’s 9th Annual Golf Tournament. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors and participants, the event raised $1,510 through the Putting Contest and 50/50 draw to directly support the Simpcw Language House. Final amounts raised for Simpcw First Nation scholarships are still being finalized.
Adding to the fun on the golf course, Dawson International Truck Centres brought excitement to the 10th hole, where Dan Buchanan and Jodi Lawrence from our Outside Parts Sales team greeted golfers with cornhole games and prizes such as a cornhole set and summer floaties.
This tournament captured the spirit of our work with SRG—collaborative, community-focused, and forward-thinking. We’re excited to continue strengthening these partnerships through future events and shared initiatives.
