This week we celebrate Canadian History Week and we want to take the opportunity to share some Dawson History. Dawson & Hall Limited were general contractors specializing in the construction of commercial, industrial, institutional and apartment complexes. As a member of Dawson, Dawson & Hall Limited built over $200 million dollars worth of major buildings and engineering structures, such as some of the most accomplished specialist in institutional buildings in Western Canada: the Centennial Pavilion of the Vancouver General Hospital, the Richmond General Hospital and the Whitehorse General Hospital, the Haney Correctional Institute and the Vancouver Public Safety Building and many of the buildings at the University of British Columbia.
